The Capacity building project for Malawian Non-State Actors (NSAs) entailed the development and validation of a course and subsequently training of relevant personnel of Malawian Non State Actors to strengthen them in the identification, development, management and financing of their education related programmes.

The capacity building Programme for Non State Actors (NSA) in Malawi was a joint project of the Malawi Government and the European Union established in 2006 to strengthen the capacity of Non State Actors (NSAs) to provide effective and improved service delivery to local communities as well as to define independently their policy agendas and be more actively involved in policy dialogue with the government and the European Union on development issues.

Also a tender dossier has been constructed. Together with Erika Joubert, Clemens Romijn has trained relevant personnel in around 60 NSAs. Training concerned 9 distinct areas.
